Blockchain. Decentralized Identity. Digital Wallets. Increasingly, the focus in our digital world is on objects, identity and money and taking those from place to place to place. Daniela Barbosa, General Manager of Blockchain and Identity at the Linux Foundation and Executive Director of the Hyperledger Foundation, will provide an overview and history of projects at the Linux Foundation that are focused on blockchain, interoperability, identity, digital wallets and more. As part of her talk, she will highlight key use cases already in production with CBDCs, supply chain, digital identity and tokenization as well as the need for an open wallet engine to build interoperable, secure and privacy-protecting wallets. She will also cover how open source and open development provide the foundation of trust that underpins these platforms.
