The level of distributed ledger technologies (DLT) innovation and investment guarantees that there will be no singular blockchain network or even platform. As we go up the adoption curve, the complexity of the networks will only grow, driving the need for public, permissioned, public permissioned and other decentralized platforms that can work together. The march towards these increasingly hybrid solutions makes cross-chain and multi-chain connectivity a critical component for enterprise adoption. Hyperledger Foundation CTO Hart Montgomery will moderate a discussion with Shingo Fujimoto of Fujitsu, Sophia Lopez of Kaleido and Susumu Toriumi from Datachain about the growing number of technologies in the open source ecosystem addressing blockchain interoperability. They will cover the: - Business and technical drivers for hybrid networks - Role of open source and open governance in building technologies to unite networks and scale applications - Details on multiple interoperability tools in the Hyperledger ecosystem, including where they sit in the network stack and how they address different connectivity challenges
