When we develop Linux embedded system on new products which are like new SoCs and/or new IC ships, we might have some issues and then spend much time to investigate. Variable things like hardware restrictions and/or software bugs are possible to cause the issues. On other hands, Linux has many features like ftrace and memtest to investigate. Also, we can add debugging code into the kernel by ourself locally. Yoshihiro Shimoda introduces what issues he observed on recently Renesas R-Car Linux embedded system and how to investigated the issues. He hope "To Make Our Lives Easier" for development of Linux embedded system through this session.
