AGL IVI Expert Group(IVI-EG) has been working on technical topics around In-vehicle Infotainment(IVI). Over the past few years, IVI-EG have been focusing on “Production Readiness” activity to fill the gap between IVI software in OEM products and Open Source AGL. Through this activity, OEM/Tier1 members have been disclosing actual production code, and defining common requirements for IVI products with other AGL community members.

This year, IVI-EG has been focusing on the support of the Flutter application and its development environment on AGL. Because TOYOTA/TCNA is using Flutter for our internal IVI project, sharing the experience and open collaboration in this area could be beneficial for both OEMs and other AGL community members. In this presentation, we will share our current status of supporting Flutter in AGL, our focus points when adopting Flutter in IVI products and other findings through this activity.
